Silver screen stunner Kerry Washington covers the December issues of LA Times Magazine and Elle Magazine.

Her role as a take-no-prisoners political maven made her a prime-time force. This month, as Quentin Tarantino's latest leading lady, Kerry Washington is redefining the look of a powerful woman—and it doesn't include a suit.
Kerry Washington has been working the covers for the past few months, appearing on the cover's of the LA Times Magazine, Elle and Essence next month, hasredefined the look of the powerful woman in the 10-page spread in Elle.
She’s the first African-American woman to headline a major network drama since 1974. Her show, ABC’s sexy political thriller Scandal, averaged 9.1 million viewers in its first season and is well into a nail-biting second.
Washington easily could have gone for the power-bitch trope, but she’s developed a different portrayal of a woman in charge, even down to the subdued colors Olivia wears. “I chose pale pastels and earth tones—no black or navy suits. She spends her days saying things people don’t want to hear. She has to ba…

According to Billboard, the South Korean rapper previously broke YouTube's record for the most liked video as well. "Gangnam Style" currently has amassed 5.3 million likes and only 326,629 dislikes, as opposed to Bieber's "Baby" which has 1.4 million likes and 3.1 million dislikes.

The 40th American Music Awards 2012: Performances, Winners & More!

The 2012 American Music Awards saved the best for last Sunday.
No one can deny the ubiquity of PSY and his infectious hit "Gangnam Style," making the Korean rapper the perfect choice to close out the 40th annual AMAs.
The entire night led up to his performance, and amazingly, it exceeded the sky-high expectations. He can thank MC Hammer - the one and only - for that:

Sneak Peek: 'Winnie,' Starring Jennifer Hudson & Terrance Howard

Image
Winnie, Starring Jennifer Hudson & Terrance Howard...
Winnie is a 2011 drama film adaptation of Anne Marie du Preez Bezrob's biography Winnie Mandela: A Life. The film is directed by Darrell Roodt, and stars Jennifer Hudson, Terrence Howard.

After nearly two years of delays, questionable casting choices, and a new distributor (megachurch pastor T.D. Jakes), Winnie, the biopic of Winnie Mandela, is gearing up to hit theaters this fall.

The film stars Jennifer Hudson in the title role and casts her alongside Terrance Howard, who stars as Winnie’s husband, Nelson Mandela. Many, including Winnie Mandela herself, were trouble by the casting choices, and if this trailer is any indication, I can see why.

The film originally debuted at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival, but after it received less than stellar reviews, the film’s producers took it off the festival circuit to undergo some changes.

David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter stated, "Solid performances are undercu…

Taylor Swift's 'Red' Still No. 1

Image
Taylor Swift's "Red" reigns supreme for a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 196,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan (down 43%). Swift beats the No. 2 title -- the debuting "Now 44" collection -- by nearly 100,000 copies.

"Red" is the first album from Swift to spend its first three weeks at No. 1.
Her 2010 set "Speak Now" earned two frames atop the list from the start, and then dipped out of the No. 1 slot for five weeks. It eventually came back for four more weeks at No. 1.

Before that, Swift's one other No. 1, 2008's "Fearless," debuted at the top, and then slipped to No. 4 in its second frame. It returned to rule for another 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1.

"Red's" total U.S. sales now stand at 1.75 million.
