BENTONVILLE, AR, and BURBANK, CA – April 24, 2013 – Superman fans, mark your calendars! Walmart announced today that it has partnered with Warner Bros. to give its customers exclusive access to see Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Man of Steel” in theaters nationwide before the film’s official release. This program  marks the first time in entertainment history that a studio has partnered with a retailer to provide such an opportunity for fans. Tickets for the exclusive screening of “Man of Steel,” will go on sale in more than 3,700 Walmart stores starting at 8 a.m. on May 18. Customers will be able to purchase up to four tickets per visit, and have the option to choose between 2D or 3D showings, where applicable. The Rock Underwent Emergency Hernia Surgery

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson underwent abdominal surgery Monday after sustaining injuries from a wrestling match earlier this month.  The 40-year-old star  announced the news on his Twitter page  Sunday:  "Saw my Dr who had to push my intenseness back thru the tear in my abdomen. Kinda romantic. Surgery is next week. #BringItOn," he wrote. Johnson's rep confirmed the news  that the star had undergone an emergency hernia operation last night that caused him to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his new film. Director Michael Bay also wished him well from the red carpet: "Dwayne's hurt tonight. He was pushing it too hard. [He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men." Two law-enforcement officials said that the suspect, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, was found in a boat parked behind a house there.

Tina Turner is set to marry long-time partner  Erwin Bach (57) this year. Yes the  73-year-old musician has reportedly said "yes" to her partner of 27 years,German producer Erwin Bach, 57, two years after he had proposed. The two have been living together in Switzerland for the past 18 years. Turner and Bach are getting ready to say "I do" on their property on Lake Zurich and "I am happier than I could have ever dreamed of," the singer recently said. In January, it was announced that Turner is on her way to becoming a Swiss citizen. She's been approved by a local council, pending formal approval from state and federal authorities. Wesley Trent Snipes,  American actor, film producer, and martial artist, who has starred in numerous films, including action thrillers and dramatic features,  is a free man... Kind of. The actor and producer was released from prison this week,   but he will remain on house arrest until this summer. The 50 year old was serving a three-year-sentence in Pennsylvania for failing to file his federal income tax returns.  Snipes was incarcerated in December 2010 after being convicted in April 2008 in Ocala, Fla., on three misdemeanor charges of failing to file his income tax returns from 1991 to 2001. The 50-year-old actor was transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office, who will facilitate his home confinement, The Federal Bureau of Prisons said  Snipes was released on April 2 and will be under house arrest until July 19.  Snipes is best known for his roles in films, such as the “Blade” trilogy and has appeared in TV shows like “Miami Vice.” He is the father of

Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s anniversary in Cuba... The Carters stepped out in Cuba for their anniversary.   Beyoncé , 31, and  Jay-Z , 43, are currently in Havana celebrating five years of marriage. Also with them are their mothers Gloria Carter and Tina Knowles who previously joined them for a traditional Cuban dinner.  The couple, who married on April 4, 2008, took in the sights of Old Havana, visited a school, dined on a rooftop terrace and strolled the fan-filled streets in their island best. They were mobbed at La Guarida restaurant on Thursday, and police were called to keep fans at bay.
