An open letter to Team FaceBook and founder, Mark Zuckerberg

Dear Team Facebook, on May 19th, 2016 you suspended our official VERIFIED page and blocked us from posting photos, videos, and shared content without a single warning.  Just CLICK and it was a wrap. Only after the fact, did you send us emails letting us know that you have done the deed and leave no recourse and offer us an explanation that, "someone has lodged a complaint against our page." REALLY?

Over the last TWOweeks, we have tried feverishly to reach you via email, page links and via phone to your office in California with absolutely no luck.
Well team FB, and you too Mark, how we can not make every single person of the millions of folks that visit our page on a daily basis happy"  For unhappy followers they have the choice to #1: Don't visit us, #2 UNLIKE us and #3 Contact us if there is a concern. Nearly 40 years later, an ambitious eight-hour remake of Roots will air at 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday on three networks: A&E, History and Lifetime. The new Roots, while telling the same story, is very different in a multitude of ways — particularly in terms of its rich visuals, because TV production values have advanced exponentially in four decades. The Festival kicks off at 10:00 a.m.  FREE live music on two stages - on the Museum grounds and in downtown Indianola. 

Lineup includes the Keb Mo' Band, Teeny Tucker, Big Time Rhythm & Blues Band and Jake and the Pearl Street Jumpers. This year will also feature a Kids Fun Zone and the Mississippi Classic Car Club.

American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actress, Ms. Lauryn HillCelebrates her 41st Birthday today!

Hill is known for being a member of the Fugees and for her critically-acclaimed solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," which won the 1999 Grammy Award for album of the year.

Back in the early '90s, Hill started out her career as an actress. After landing a recurring role on the television soap opera, As the World Turns, she then worked her way to a starring role in the 1993 film, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. Before long, though, Hill decided to pursue music, and she and rapper Pras Michel formed a hip hop group, later known as the Fugees.
