Instead of Just a Racist The man who inspired Spike Lee’s new movie,  BlacKkKlansman , says that the man he conned forty years ago—none other than the KKK’s Grandwizard David Duke—is concerned that the critically acclaimed new film might make him look stupid. The film, already considered to be one of Lee’s best in recent years, follows the journey of Ron Stallworth, Colorado Springs’ first black police officer, as he infiltrates the KKK. In an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, Stallworth shared that Duke recently hit him up on the phone to talk about the movie. When asked if that was a fair description of how Duke is portrayed in  BlacKkKlansman , Stallworth responds, “in some areas, yeah. Last September, it was confirmed that Spike Lee and Jordan Peele were  working on a film together . Details were attached at the time, but Heads also seem to know that movie news and actual films can be years apart from happening,  especially after Oscar wins . A project such as this could go to the bottom of the stack. In less than a year, this intriguing project appears to be on the fast track. While he has always addressed social and racial issues in his films, Spike Lee created some of his most relevant work in the last decade. With 2013 marking the 25 th  anniversary of “School Daze,” many are wondering if there is a chance   Spike Lee  might release a sequel to the classic film. In the past there has been talk, but there has been no confirmation of a follow up until now. Spike Lee spoke with  Black&Sexy   TV  and revealed that a script has been completed. “I had the script for ‘School Daze,’” said Lee. “But, what people have to understand is that it’s a contemporary version.
