43rd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards Winner's List


"Sesame Street" actress Sonia Manzano (Maria) will receive this year's Lifetime Achievement Award during the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy ceremony, which will not be televised, on Sunday May 1. The 43rd Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony was held on Friday, April 29 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in downtown Los Angeles. The Young and the Restless led the way in the daytime drama categories, picking up 5 awards. General Hospital was next with 4. 
Indie soap The Bay won three Emmys, including being named Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series for the second year in a row.
Presenters include Larry King, Rita Moreno, Mario Lopez, Nancy O'Dell, Kevin Frazier, Sandra Lee and Chris Harrison. Some awards were presented on Friday. The rest will be presented on Sunday.

It's Lemonade season. By the time Beyoncé dropped Lemonade, her feverishly-anticipated new album, on the world Saturday night via TIDAL, viewers were three-quarters of the way through her heart-stopping, hour-long HBO special of the same name. Before its premiere Saturday night, fans didn’t know what to expect from Lemonade Few details about  it were released. Would it be a music video? A documentary? A little bit of both? Turns out, it was a visual album featuring video treatments for the 11 new songs Bey introduced the world to en masse — as exquisite an introduction to the Lemonade record as we could have imagined.

Tupac Shakur came on STRONG to a high school classmate, confessing about heartbreak and his love ofPrincein an emotional letter that’s now up for sale.He wrote the 1988 letter to a girl in his drama class he called “Beethoven.” She says that was his nickname for her because she played piano. It’s clear from the letter, ‘Pac was already a deep cat back then. He wrote, “As u will soon find out, I do not spare words, I say what I feel. So if something I say scares u please don’t panic because I tend 2 get over emotional.” He also said, “It’s almost like I’ve known you 4 years.” That rap worked on “Beethoven” she says they were in love.
