FISHBURNE DOES RAP
“THE KID” RELEASES MEGA WORLD MIXED TAPE; PRELUDE TO NEW CD!
Los Angeles, CA- LaStar Fishburne, an aspiring Grammy winning urban Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B artist, has cut his teeth on his first solo mixed tape, and if his sir name resonates, it just may be that he hails from an endearing line of award winning performers.
LaStar, a transplant from Brooklyn, New York, now residing in Los Angeles, had the pleasure of learning and embracing the creative arts at a very young age beginning with tutorials at home with his aunt, mother of the multi award winning American Actor, Laurence Fishburne.
And if family genes have anything to do with it, the Fishburne Legacy of talent is continuing with ‘The Kid”.
Yet LaStar (aka: The Kid), has found a voice of his own and is “assiduously working at becoming a dominate force in the entertainment industry, amongst the elite” says “The Kid
LaStar’s energy has always been fueled by his passion for the arts, where he has the avid agility to embody a plethora of roles, and despite the devotion to his Hip-Hop artistry, he remains intrigued by the ability to tell a story and bring it to life through a small lens.
LaStar’s appearance has frequented a legion of films which include:
* New Jersey Drive,
* A.B.C. Network Series- Happy Endings,
* Spike Lee’s Clocker’s
with repeated appearances’ on:
* C.S.I. New York,
* C.S.I Miami and
* C.S.I Vegas.
LaStar is currently a member of Central Casting Cooperation located in Burbank, CA.

Concentrating right now on his emerging hip hop career and as CEO of "**The New, New Jacc City Entertainment**", which will release his new CD, the younger Fishburne promotes perseverance through his music which he's very passionate about.
LaStar maintains a positive attitude towards his new career path and finds solace and encouragement with his celebrity manager, **Ernest Thomas** whom he refers to as uncle Ernie; acting legend..."Raj" from the 70's TV series, "What’s Happening."
Due out in midsummer 2012, will be LaStar’s first solo album.

Meanwhile, the Kid is feeding  fan frenzy by providing full song streaming and free downloading on his website of mixed tracks named “**The Reconstruction 40/30**” and includes "**I GOT YOU**". To listen and download, go to his new web site at http://www.lastarfishburne.com or his official Face Book fan page where he intends on doing a lot of social networking.
Now, as one might imagine, Or not, the Kids lyrics aren't for the faint of heart and he warns you with a parental advisory of "explicit lyrics”on his websites home page which opens with "**HOLD ON**", a lyrical R&B beat which may be included on his solo CD.

Coming down the pike are perhaps The Kid's favorite originals: **"Hey Pretty Girl" and "Time Pass"** which will be featured on the album in tandem with the songs' videos and will be available as a paid download to the public.

LaStar's other passion for live performances are taking shape as upcoming tours materialize.

The Kid has been invited to support a few seasoned artists on their spring tours and will appear in and around the Los Angeles, CA area until the release of his new CD.
