“Remembering Ray” tribute takes a turn....

The family of the late Music Icon Ray Charles would like to thank each and every individual, organization and corporation that so freely, willfully and respectfully opened its arms to the incredible “Remembering Ray” musical tribute scheduled for September 10, 2012 at the beautiful Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA.

The “Remembering Ray” tribute has attracted the attention of national sponsors and supporters as well as national talent.  As such, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was presented to the Charles family as they have been approached to produce & celebrate Mr. Charles, his music and contributions in a multi-city touring musical!  Because of this unbelievable opportunity and in order take advantage of it, the family has been asked to “shelve” the current tribute to make way & promote the tour versus one event. We could not have dreamed of such a possibility!

We could not have advanced to this point with this ‘Ray’ production without you.  We remain committed to you – our partners and our supporters. We understand that this has had a twist and a turn and you have kept “in step” with us, every step of the way! First (and because of that), we couldn’t express our ‘Thanks’ enough. As the family dissolves the ‘Ray’ project (in its current form) into this newly, enhanced project, we would like to continue our relationship with you in integrating the mission of your organization. Thank YOU for your willingness, openness and work put into the “Remembering Ray” tribute that has now gone national!

'Passengers' Cast Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence Team Up for New Movie

Georgia’s film industry is growing one movie at a time. The next major motion picture to film in the Atlanta area is Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt’s new movie ‘Passengers’. Tom Rothman gave the thumbs-up to  Passengers  with a budget of about $120m after tax incentives. Sony Pictures has just given the nod for the production of 'Passengers,' an interstellar romance starring two big names of Hollywood - Christ Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. People reported that both the stars are expected to get two paychecks for the upcoming film It's set on a spaceship, the cast is the same size as Gravity's, and the budget is huge.  But what else do we know about 2016's biggest sci-fi film?
