The Boston Soul Experience - 4 acts at Hard Rock Cafe, featuring Sheila Raye Charles the daughter of legendary Ray Charles, performing his music and her own! The show will be a night of music that touches and liberates the soul.

Sheila Raye Charles creates her own distinct sound while delivering her intensely inspiring message of hope and love.

 As a talented singer/songwriter, she has found her voice in acoustic jazz and R & B with lyrics that deliver the personal journey of her own life and her relationship with her legendary father, Ray Charles. At age 19, with great courage, she defied her father’s wishes and pursued music.

Demonstrating her commitment and her talent, her father actually brought her and her band into his studio and personally produced several songs. Through a series of life changing events, her music career waned as she gathered a lifetime of experiences which, today, give great meaning and countenance to her music.

Today, Charles is called upon to provide skin tingling renditions of her father’s best known songs from America the Beautiful to Hit The Road Jack to Georgia from jazz festivals to embassy parties to clubs and places of worship. As an entertaining and engaging vocalist, Charles is able to inspire her audiences with stories of her life challenges of drug addiction and recovery, of her spiritual journey and personal growth while at the same time delivering meaty, life giving music. With the publication of her life story, Behind the Shades, Charles provides insight into her life and her path to God.

2012 brings the introduction of “Remembering Ray” a personal tribute to their father by his children. Charles orchestrated the development of this very personal tribute with her siblings which will preview in Atlanta. Charles and her siblings will honor their father by sharing some of Ray Charles’ best known songs intertwined with personal glimpses into their relationship with their famous father while raising money for hearing impaired.

Georgia’s film industry is growing one movie at a time. The next major motion picture to film in the Atlanta area is Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt’s new movie ‘Passengers’. Tom Rothman gave the thumbs-up to  Passengers  with a budget of about $120m after tax incentives. Sony Pictures has just given the nod for the production of 'Passengers,' an interstellar romance starring two big names of Hollywood - Christ Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. People reported that both the stars are expected to get two paychecks for the upcoming film It's set on a spaceship, the cast is the same size as Gravity's, and the budget is huge.  But what else do we know about 2016's biggest sci-fi film?
