Billy Crudup, Anton Yelchin, Selena Gomez & Laurence Fishburne Are 'Rudderless' For William H. Macy.




Having worked with folks like Steven Spielberg, the Coen Brothers, Paul Thomas Anderson, David Mamet, Gus Van Sant and more, William H. Macy has no shortage of experience to draw on as he makes his feature directorial debut. But first, he'll need to get a cast together and he's done just that!
Billy Crudup, Anton Yelchin, Selena Gomez and Laurence Fishburne have all joined the perhaps too obviously titled "Rudderless" alongside Macy and his wife Felicity Huffman.
Macy and Felicity Huffman star in Rudderless, a musical drama about a grieving father who forms a band after finding his deceased son’s songs. TheShameless star co-wrote the original story with Casey Twenter and Jeff Robison, who adapted the script. Unified Pictures’ Keith Kjarval is producing with Amberdale’s Brad Greiner.
Macy's other directorial venture was the HBO one off "Lip Service" back in the late 1980s and it looks promising as he's working with a pretty good group of players. 
Filming gets underway later in April in Oklahoma.

'Passengers' Cast Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence Team Up for New Movie

Georgia’s film industry is growing one movie at a time. The next major motion picture to film in the Atlanta area is Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt’s new movie ‘Passengers’. Tom Rothman gave the thumbs-up to  Passengers  with a budget of about $120m after tax incentives. Sony Pictures has just given the nod for the production of 'Passengers,' an interstellar romance starring two big names of Hollywood - Christ Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. People reported that both the stars are expected to get two paychecks for the upcoming film It's set on a spaceship, the cast is the same size as Gravity's, and the budget is huge.  But what else do we know about 2016's biggest sci-fi film?
