  Orrin Hudson, is 
hosting a Charity Chess 
event to celebrate his 50th 
birthday on Memorial 
Day weekend.

Hudson, who has built a 
reputation around the 
nation using chess to 
inspire youths and adults to become leaders, is featured in Essence magazine’s June issue discussing how he has inspired youths to become leaders through the game of chess.

“I speak from experience. I was an at-risk young man with no future,” Hudson said. “A teacher and the game of chess turned me around. Through Be Someone, Inc., I’m paying back.”

Hudson will be teaching anyone who wants to learn to play chess on Sunday, May 26, 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, 265 Peachtree Center Ave, NE., Atlanta.

In learning to play chess, attendees at Hudson’s birthday bash will learn to incorporate Hudson's Life Mastery Skills into everyday problem solving.

The event will feature national recording artist Arthur Reed, and guest speakers Chula Flemmings, and Patricia Hill. 

One of the community’s favorite music men, Darius Harpp aka “DJ D,” will provide music for the guests.
Admission is free, but donations will be gladly accepted to benefit Be Someone, Inc.
