ATLANTA, GEORGIA USA, JUNE 22, 2013-  United Kingdom based, African Leadership Magazine will present in Atlanta, Georgia USA, a conceptual forum entitled, “The African Exchange and Investment Forum” on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency on Peachtree Street .

The purpose of the concept is to fuse nations, government leaders and captains of industry while engaging in cultural exchanges of artistic ideas and social responsibilities fused, with flairs of world-class entertainment, while drawing focus to tangible investments.

The African Leadership Magazine, through its Social Responsibility arm, – it’s non-governmental organization known as Centre for Economic and Leadership Development (CELD), currently in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, has adopted the SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL TODAY program to give orphans and vulnerable children the opportunity to achieve their full potential through educational support and assistance. These organizations offer scholarships to indigent orphans and children with disabilities.  Currently, the organization governs 82 Children under its care, in several secondary schools across Nigeria, Liberia, Kenya and Ghana and is totally responsible for their cost of education at the senior secondary level. For the 2013/14 Academic session, CELD’s mission is to adopt 200 additional children across these countries.

The passion to integrate responsive leadership and accountability in tomorrow’s leaders has brought about a world-wide, world-class concept based on real investments- fabric, fashion and cloth/textiles within one forum.

Fabric being an absolute necessity for personnel and home use, automotive industries, businesses, flooring, transportation, fashion designers and world of entertainment, is synonymous with the pure blank slate of cotton or a silk worm, deriving from many different continents to be infused with the talents of an artist to bring the canvas to life.

The discovery of dyed flax fibres in a cave in the Republic of Georgia dates back to 34,000 BCE and suggests textile-like materials were made even in prehistoric times. It is this industries investment endeavor that has, indelibly fused Africa and America’s cotton and textile industries together forever.

It is in this light that the African Leadership Magazine presents a wonderful collaboration of cultural exchange Featuring- Velasquez Production's Fashion Conductor Ms. Sandra Velasquez, in association with - international couture designers:  Ms. Sonia Noel- Guyana, Mr. Matthew Cashe- Trinidad & Tobago and Mr. Laron Harlem, Jr. and Mr. Laron Harlem, Sr. - Atlanta, GA (Colour Me Blind), paired with a perfect fusion of entertainment with the incomparable Sheila Ray Charles, daughter of Georgia’s LEDGENDARY Ray Charles and, the Golden voice of R&B, Mr. Tony Terry, in one gala affair.

These talented artisans will assemble to exchange and demonstrate their cultural gifts as they come together to honor former Governor and, current Senator, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki who, is slated to receive covenanted awards from the Georgia Governors Office, Nathan Deal respectively, Georgia’s Secretary of State and the City of Atlanta, amid a confirmed guest list that reads like a who’s who of top brass African and Georgia dignitaries’.  Dr. Saraki was an elected governor of Kwara State, Nigeria, in 2003 where he served two terms in office and in the April 2011 elections, was elected Senator for Kwara Central.

Senator Dr. Saraki will be celebrated for his works, contributions, dedication and championship towards Health, Agriculture, Education, National Economy and worldwide Environmental issues and policies to which His Excellency Amb Ade Adefuye, Nigeria’s Ambassador to the US, Amb Geoffrey Teneilabe (Consulate General of Nigeria located in Atlanta, GA), Alh Abdulfatah Ahmed (Executive Governor of Kwara state), Sen.
