Each year on Hispanic Heritage Month the Georgia Latino Film Festival will bring together inspiring days filled with premieres, classes, panels, exclusive parties, and awards showcasing the top storytellers and film makers. As an added feature, GALFF will host our Celebrity Golf Tournament at Stone Mountain!


The mission of the Georgia Latino Film Festival is to build awareness of independent films and film as an art form; provide educational opportunities for students and Georgia Latino filmmakers; and create opportunities for the Georgia communities to experience high-quality Latino films. We hope that in years to come the Georgia Latino Film Festivals continues to grow and is the place where careers are born, where we leverage our collective voice and resources to empower our community.

Rick Najera Najera, an award-winning writer, actor, and director will perform at the GLFF. He is the author of "Almost White: Forced Confessions of a Latino in Hollywood" Najera is known for his stints as a comedy writer on shows like In Living Color andMad TV, his Showtime special Diary of a Dad Man, the ALMA Award-winning screenplay for the film Nothing Like the Holidays, and the Broadway run of his groundbreaking sketch comedy institution Latinologues, which over the past 20 years has featured a who’s who line-up of Latino performers

About the Georgia Latino Film Festival 
The Georgia Latino Film Festival (GALFF) was founded in 2012 by co-founded by Jose Marquez , CEO of Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association and Lance Robertson CEO Robertson Media Group. GALFF is a working non-profit 501c (3) organization with the mission to educate and develop and exhibit the richness of Latino filmmakers and to promote and create awareness of the Latin cultures, artistry and countries through film. GALFF also offers industry workshops, panels, networking receptions and educational programs non competitive festival the GALFF does award Best Movie Long/Short and Best Documentary Long/Short, chosen by the audience. GALFF serves as a place where Latino filmmakers can come together and build their network with industry buyers and distributors.
