This show features soulful songs and dances from Black Broadway Shows, such as Dreamgirls, Bubbling Brown Sugar, Ain't Misbehavin', The Wiz, Smokey Joe's Cafe and more. This is a musical theater production. Singers must have some stage experience and dancers must be trained. Tapping is a plus but not required. Dancers will be taught a dance combination. Wear proper dance attire. Dancers may be asked to stay and sing and Singers may be asked to dance. If hired, all performers will be contracted. There will be 2 weeks rehearsal prior to opening February 21-23, 2014 at Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center in Decatur, GA.
