David J. Stern is the former commissioner of the NBA who built the model for professional sports in league operations, public service, global marketing and digital technology.

Last week, Stern was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for the thirty years he dedicated to the NBA, during which he became"professional sports' most popular leader,"according to the Boston Globe.

Stern left behind a powerful legacy: Forbes says Stern "belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of Most Influential Sports Business Leaders."

Stern presided over a business transformation that is remarkable in the history of American enterprise, growing annual revenues to $5.5 billion with combined value of the teams of more than $20 billion, launching the Women's National Basketball Association and the NBA Development League, growing the brand and fanbase and opening 13 offices internationally, and negotiating television revenues of almost one billion dollars per season.

 Stern is a highly engaging speaker who uses dramatic stories to illustrate the lessons he has learned that have made him a global business icon.

'Passengers' Cast Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence Team Up for New Movie

Georgia’s film industry is growing one movie at a time. The next major motion picture to film in the Atlanta area is Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt’s new movie ‘Passengers’. Tom Rothman gave the thumbs-up to  Passengers  with a budget of about $120m after tax incentives. Sony Pictures has just given the nod for the production of 'Passengers,' an interstellar romance starring two big names of Hollywood - Christ Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. People reported that both the stars are expected to get two paychecks for the upcoming film It's set on a spaceship, the cast is the same size as Gravity's, and the budget is huge.  But what else do we know about 2016's biggest sci-fi film?
