TONY TERRY PERFORMS AT THE 107th NAACP NATIONAL CONVENTION [LIVESTREAM]

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People held its 107th Annual Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Duke Energy Center July 16-20, 2016.

The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.

Leaders of the nation’s oldest civil rights organization on Saturday morning thanked the city of Cincinnati and the community for the warm welcome before a ribbon cutting that officially opened the 107th NAACP convention just two days ahead of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Attendance was exceed 5,000 conventioneers. Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton spoke Monday.

NAACP leaders say presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump turned down an invitation, citing scheduling conflicts with the RNC beginning Monday on the northeast side of the state.

With a lot of attention given to voter registration and education, along with a Get Out the Vote efforts, National recording artist,
Tony Terry took to the stage to performed an original compilation he wrote just weeks prior which delves deeply into the issues of deadly police force and unreasonable harassment towards African American and that of non-Caucasian men and women across the globe with a song he recorded just last week entitled, "All Lives Matter."

With a theme of Our Lives Matter/Our Votes matter, this year's conveners of the 107th NAACP Annual Convention could not think of a better entertainer to celebrate their works.

Terrys song which has been dubbed a 'Social Anthem' for the times has sparked a flame across the country and delivers an all includes the message that All Lives Matter. The conveners for the convention heard the clip of Terry rehearsing in the Soundwave recording studio in Atlanta, Georgia and immediately tapped him to perform at their historic convention in Cincinnati. In the compilation, Terry say's "this is an open letter" and sites Furguson, Staten Island, Sandy Hook and reminding the world about Trayvon Martin and refers to Martin Luther King, Jr's dream  and goes on to say "we should be uncomfortable.

Terry, who releases his new EP entitled "From The Heart" this August, has been very vocal in social and affairs over the last decade. The single which will appear on his newest album has set in motion a far greater focus for Terry as he has placed an official call to action and will soon be re-mastering this single to include some of the world's most renowned, prevalent yet conscious male artist and iconic political and
clergy figures from across the country.

Terry has created a not-for-profit organization; the “Tony Terry [TTALM] All Lives Matter, Inc.” which, proceeds from the all-star single will benefit the victims’ of violence and brutality as well as their families. In this vein, Mr. Terry is setting an immediate date to record LIVE in Atlanta, Georgia and has reached out to the African American Philharmonic Orchestra and several other national recording artists which included Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana. Terry says "this auspicious task of world peace is something that MUST happen without delay."
