Hip Hop Awards Winners List

DJ Khaled hosted the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards and was  pre-taped September 17 in Atlanta.



In addition to his hosting duties, DJ Khaled made good on his “All I Do Is Win” promise, winning DJ of the Year, MVP of the Year and Hustler of the Year.

Drake ruled with 14 nominations and won Video of the Year for his infectious dance moves in “Hotline Bling” as well as Album of the Year for VIEWS.

Betty Wright is an undisputed legend and her Hip Hop Awards performance of DJ Khaled’s hit “Major Key” is memorable, but not for the full set.
During the climax of her performance, she hit quite a high note and it looked, at least from our view, that it was taking over her life.

Chance The Rapper was named Best New Hip Hop Artist for some reason, and his Coloring Book mixtape (his third since 2012) won Mixtape of the Year. In addition to his hosting duties, DJ Khaled made good on his “All I Do Is Win” promise, winning DJ of the Year, MVP of the Year and Hustler of the Year.

Kendrick Lamar won for Lyricist of the Year and Best Live Performer and presented Snoop Dogg the “I Am Hip Hop” award to commemorate his legendary career.

Snoop pushed the hip-hop freshmen to be themselves unapologetically.

'Passengers' Cast Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence Team Up for New Movie

Georgia’s film industry is growing one movie at a time. The next major motion picture to film in the Atlanta area is Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt’s new movie ‘Passengers’. Tom Rothman gave the thumbs-up to  Passengers  with a budget of about $120m after tax incentives. Sony Pictures has just given the nod for the production of 'Passengers,' an interstellar romance starring two big names of Hollywood - Christ Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. People reported that both the stars are expected to get two paychecks for the upcoming film It's set on a spaceship, the cast is the same size as Gravity's, and the budget is huge.  But what else do we know about 2016's biggest sci-fi film?
