Taylor Swift's 'Red' Sells 1.21 Million; Biggest Sales Week for an Album Since 2002    Never, ever, ever getting back together apparently has its benefits. Taylor Swift's new album “ Red ” sold a stunning 1.21 million copies. "Red" is only the 18th album to sell a million units in a single week since SoundScan started tracking sales in 1991. Its start ranks as the eighth biggest sales week in that span of time. The SoundScan-era record week is held by *NSYNC's "No Strings Attached," when it debuted at No. 1 with 2.416 million in 2000. It's official: Taylor Swift's "Red" sold a whopping 1.208 million copies last week in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan. That's more than any album has sold in a single week since 2002, when Eminem's "The Eminem Show" sold 1.322 million in its first full week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. ...

According to the New Orleans Mayor’s Office, the movie, Dallas Buyer’s Club, the movie McConaughey has been losing weight for, is looking for extras. The film is set in the mid 1980’s and they will need a lot of men for the shoot. Mustaches and 80s facial hair are a plus. They are also looking for Hispanic and Japanese people. They will also need period vehicles, from late 1960’s to 1986. Natina Reed , a member of the '90s group Blaque and star of the 2000 cheerleading film Bring It On , died last night at the age of 32. According  the Gwinnett Co., Georgia Police Department, Reed was struck by a car at about 10:30 p.m., and was pronounced dead at 10:59 ET at Gwinnett Medical Center, near Atlanta, GA. The Police statement also said that while the investigation is ongoing, the driver has been determined to not be at fault. "Preliminary information indicates that Reed was in the roadway on Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road when struck. The driver of the vehicle was not at fault and  no charges are pending. There are no additional witnesses beyond the driver and passenger.  Reed's former group-mates Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears-DeVoe issued a joint statement: "We are devastated by the loss of our group member, sister and friend Natina Reed. Anthony Hopkins may be the most famous Hannibal Lecter of all, but he’s far from the only one.  There isn't much these days on   network television in general to get excited about, which is what makes the prospect of " Hannibal " all the more intriguing. The first thing that draws your attention right away is  the casting  of the excellent  Mads Mikkelsen    in the title role. Cee Lo will release his first Holiday album this month, featuring The Muppets and a duet with Rod Stewart. You might well be detecting a whiff of novelty but, t he 38-year-old singer-rapper is working on a Christmas album that he promises is " the real deal ."  The 14-track disc,Cee   Lo’s Magic Moment  will arrive, somewhat prematurely, this October. Green promises a “soulful take on a host of Christmas classics”, including ‘Silent Night’, ‘White Christmas’, ‘The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)’, and yes, ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch’.
